For the last few weeks we have been talking here about using a motorhome for accommodation for the London Olympics 2012. There are probably quite a few people thinking about using a motorhome as accommodation if they are interested in The Queen’s Diamond Jubilee this year. But really for me, I’m not really interested in all that – I don’t really like cities (except Barcelona and Valencia) much at all. The idea of a motorhome hire holiday for me is getting away from the city and heading off to the countryside. I’m never happier than I am when I’m safely pitched up somewhere on a warm summer’s evening and it’s time to stroll off to the local village to find a nice pub and frothy pint of real ale. Does that sound good? Well everyone does different things in a motorhome, so just do what you want – when you want!
With the new motorhome hire depots in Edinburgh, Bristol, Cambridge and Heathrow plus 500 other pick up points already in place, there is going to be a motorhome ready for you to escape to the country. There are about 100 new motorhomes available in 2012, like the lovely Chausson Flash pictured here, but do bear in mind that demand will be high this year, so book early. You can call 0800 612 8719 anytime night or day, 7 days a week.
