Our journey continues south of Dijon, choosing the ‘right hand’ arm of the Autoroute to head for Lyon. There are two autoroutes between Dijon and Lyon, the west one is probably a bit shorter, but the east one is usually much quieter, which is probably a good one to use if you are going to be hitting Lyon at rush hour like we will.
The sun is now fully out with a lovely blue sky, I’m not sure of the temperature, but I would guess its about 30c.
We just met a very pleasant couple from Germany in a Chausson Flash 04. They are aiming for Portugal, but not in rush, just doing about 300 miles a day. Life is definitely better in a motorhome.
