This camper makes use of the Fiat Ducato 15 cab with some extras, which include electric mirrors and windows. A few versions of the 08 also enjoy a reversing camera system with monitor integrated to the actual rear-view mirror.
The actual swivelling captain’s chairs in the cab are extremely supportive plus the soft facings are high quality. The large door mirrors, with blind-spot sections, make up for having less rear window through-vision.
Behind the cab there is three belted individual seats. Extra map pockets above the entrance doors offer additional space or room for all those very important nick-nacks while on the go.
Sleeping in the Chausson Flash 08 is a soothing experience as a result of huge, permanent, bed having its softly sprung mattress. The bed base lifts to enable use of a generously sized storage space, big enough for items that include skis. Even more space for storage is provided by overhead lockers around the master bedroom as well as a long, narrow, space above the cab area. This is a low profile motorhome as it does not use the space over the cab as a bed.
At the front end of the Flash, the dinette turns in to a double bed, making this 6.46m camper a genuine four-berth. Partners wanting some well-designed ease and comfort should keep an eye on on the Flash 08.
