Europe Motorhome Tours
Some ideas:
The Loire Valley
Wine tasting in the Loire Valley, purchasing direct from the vineyards.
Some of the most spectacular sites you are ever likely to visit including Chambord: The largest of the Loire Chateaux with the famous “double revolution” staircase attributed to Leonardo da Vinci and many other interesting places of architecture and themes.
Then how about onto Southern France, St Maxime, Port Grimaud, St Tropez, Cannes, Monaco, Nice and more?
Tours in Germany and Holland
The Dutch town of Valkenburg holds its annual Christmas markets in superb setting of a local cave.
About 20 miles from Valkenburg is the German town of Aachen, which holds one of Germany’s biggest and best Christmas Markets.
Also you could plan to visit Köln, Bonn and Koblenz. Koblenz is a beautiful city on the Rhine.
It is always interesting to compare the two different Christmas events and we usually arrange to spend an evening at the Aachen event. A great opportunity to do some Christmas shopping and see a different side to these fascinating countries.
Spain
Spain’s historical sites, such as the majestic Sagrada Familia in the Catalan capital, Barcelona. Then on to Gandesa and “The Great National Park Catalonia” and the spectacular view overlooking the village where “Picasso” lived and worked in for two years of his life. Not far away is the River Ebra famous for its huge record breaking fish. Down the East coast there is Benidorm, Almeria, Alicante and Malaga.
