Would your kids enjoy a motorhome holiday?

If you have a child anything like my 4 year old daughter, Maddy, then the answer is definately yes! We still find it amazing how long she can keep herself amused just messing about with her Lego in the awning.
Of course she has her favourite campsite in Spain, Camping Vinaros, which is on the Costa del Azahar, but she does love the journey down there too. We usually stop at Marseillan Plage or Vias Plage on the way down through the south of France which is an area very well catered for camping. When we cross over into Spain at La Jonquera, it is only another 45mins to L’Estartit on The Costa Brava, so we usually stop there too at Camping Emporda.

The fun for children is as simple as: each day there are more things to look at and do, and more people to play with.

Don’t underestimate the educational value of this either: Maddy is bi-lingual French/English as we are english but live in the French Alps, but last time we were in Vinaros she spent a whole weekend with a lad from Tarragona who spoke only Catalan and Castellano! Would this situation ever happen with a package holiday? Not so likely I think.
