Marseillan Plage Campsites
Campsites and Wild Camping in Marseillan Plage, France.
If you are looking for a campsite – there are loads in Marseillan Plage, from the posh Nouvelle Floride to the cheap and cheerful one that I can’t remember the name of by the river.
If you want to wild camp, use the road that is between the Étang de Thau and the sea – this is the road that is located between the towns of Sète and Marseillan Plage. In July and August there are motorhomes end to end along this stretch, but in September you’ll easily find a great spot. When you finish your stay, just carry on North to Sète and get back on the main road that way. We discovered this place when we were on a motorhome holiday in 2002, the bar we liked in Marseillan Plage was called The Pirate Bar, not sure if it is still there, but it was always good fun.

I just remembered that the camp site by the river was called Camping Robinson, not sure if it is still there though.
